Introducting the Superman Outfit (Smallville)

Apparently at comicon Smallville unveiled their version of what Clark Kent will wear as Superman. What do you think about it? I think it looks lame, they should have gone with something Xmen'ish but only dark red.

    It's Purple. Okay...It is PURPLE!! What are they thinking. They have had the poor boy in red and blue in every single episode. Did they get bored and think..ooh,ooh,I know let's mix red and blue and see what happens?

    ok... this picture is a mix of tom welling's face, Neo from Matrix 1 (the coat is actually black but the resolution on this copy just sucks) and a metal superman logo... please tell me non of you actually think this is real!?!
